In other words, we will not start league play in August as last year. Starting in September, the 14 teams will be seeded and the 16 games will be played, with each team hosting two games each week, leaving a maximum of four teams per division. The home team will go first, and the visiting team will receive the benefit of home field advantage. Three divisions: There will be three divisions: North, South and Midlands. The Midlands will play 18 games, and the North and South will play 16 games. One-half of the divisional games will be played at home, and the other games will be at neutral sites. Team changes: We will have open play for rookies, and field the 8 best rookies. If you wish to have a rookie on your team, send me a line or two about yourself on how you would fit on this team. The rookies can be on any team. Rookie draft: The draft will be held in the poolroom on Friday, May 13th at 7:00 pm. We will be drafting as a team, and the new coach will be on the drafting team. Sign-up: Teams need to be signed up in the new format for the first round of league play. Only one team can be registered per division. Players on the drafted teams are welcome to play on the team that drafted them. Because the North and South have fewer teams in the league, we have played these teams from each division separately for two seasons.
